How To Get Back The Old Google Image Search

If you don’t like how the new Google Image Search is treating you, then go back to the old version by following these steps from Lifehacker…

For example, if you want to search for “puppy”…

1.  Go to google and do an image search for “puppy”

2.  This will open up the current google image search window
*look at the web address bar…it will say:

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&biw=1440&bih=733&q=puppy&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

3.  To get to the old google image search, you just need to modify that above address…

it should go from this…

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&biw=1440&bih=733&q=puppy&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
TO THIS
http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&biw=1440&bih=733&q=puppy&sout=1

so no matter what you’re searching for, always just place “sout=1” after your search query (ex. puppy&)

4.  You’re back to the original google image search!
